Industrial Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Collect time study data and provide graphical and detail reports
• Balance production lines by level loading work elements for high utilization of operators
• Conduct PFMEA and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• KPI assessment and corrective measure implementation
• Assist manufacturing and engineering with product/process technical problem solving as needed.
• Work collaborative with design teams and other disciplines.
• Lead improvement projects which improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 10 years related manufacturing experience
• Proven problem-solving skills utilizing DMAIC and/or 6 Sigma methods
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Proficient with using various measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Exhibits the ability to learn quickly and the desire to make improvements
• Excellent communications and interpersonal relations.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the manufacture of compressors and condensing units.
• Ability to move into a manager position.
