Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collect time study data and provide graphical and detail reports
- Balance production lines by level loading work elements for high utilization of operators
- Conduct PFMEA and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- KPI assessment and corrective measure implementation
- Assist manufacturing and engineering with product/process technical problem solving as needed.
- Work collaborative with design teams and other disciplines.
- Lead improvement projects which improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 10 years related manufacturing experience
- Proven problem-solving skills utilizing DMAIC and/or 6 Sigma methods
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Proficient with using various measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Exhibits the ability to learn quickly and the desire to make improvements
- Excellent communications and interpersonal relations.
- Excellent analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the manufacture of compressors and condensing units.
- Ability to move into a manager position.
