Alluvion Aeroponics Living Lettuce™
At Alluvion Aeroponics, we grow a variety of crisp lettuce varieties year-round in a custom-built indoor aeroponics operation. Grown without soil or pesticides in a vertically stacked growing system using a combination of LED lights and nutrient-filtered water, our living blooms are cultivated at peak crispness with a relatively small environmental footprint.
Family-owned and operated, Founder/Grower Dominic Uccellini designed a growing operation to produce lettuce blooms cultivated with their roots still attached, essentially an edible Living Lettuce™ bouquet. This allows for extended shelf life as well as picturesque serving possibilities like DIY lettuce wraps or edible table centerpieces.” Alluvion Aeroponics has been in business for 5 years and is looking to grow its current operations to serve more grocery stores in the Baltimore area. Alluvion Aeroponics Living Lettuce™ can be found at select Baltimore farmers markets, Eddie’s of Roeland Park grocery stores, and Graul’s Market Ruxton.
