A Indirect Loan Processor to join our team! As the Indirect Loan Processor, you will audit, process, and fund loans that were approved/counter-offered within the CUDL platform and to assist members (dealers) with inquiries, requests, and/or problems in a friendly, respectful, courteous, and professional manner. You will handle incoming calls/e-mails/faxes, as well as maintaining department surroundings that reflect the Credit Union’s commitment to provide a friendly, respectful, courteous and professional business environment for all Credit Union members. As the Indirect Loan Processor, you are also expected to contribute to member satisfaction and retention.

As a Indirect Loan Processor you will…
- Attend to shared duties within the department such as answering incoming phone calls, responding to and handling incoming e-mails and comments, as well as receiving smartfunds or faxes pertaining to loans within the CUDL system while providing high levels of service with quick turn-around time for its members (dealers).
- Actively receive, log, and track indirect (CUDL) funding packets into and out of their respective queues within the CUDL platform.
- Audit incoming loan documents for quality, accuracy, validity, with fraud-prevention and detection in mind.
- Review and calculate proof of income provided for loan applications while using critical thinking skills to protect the credit union from possible fraud.
- Fund and book audited indirect (CUDL) loans from CUDL (L.O.S.) into Symitar (core) Meet daily production goals, as determined by management, in conjunction with prioritizing funding based on member service. while prioritizing loans in accordance with what is best for the member (dealership).
- Maintain clear understanding and consistent tracking of the departmental scheduling calendar within Outlook.
- Offering and issuing GAP policies (when applicable) and logging/tracking incentives for issuance in a timely manner.
- Utilize the Verafin system to conduct and track OFAC checks as needed.
- Use and maintenance of any departmental Excel spreadsheets for data logging and tracking as necessary with accuracy and efficiency.
Our ideal candidate will bring to the team…
- Two years of experience in the dealer funding field preferred, preferably in a financial institution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Your compensation:
At Sound Credit Union we believe in paying our employees a fair and living wage. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. This strategy promotes a talented and empowering work environment that we hope you will be a part of! Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.
Minimum: $24.62
Midpoint: $30.77
Maximum: $36.92
Your hours:
A hybrid schedule Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm.
In your role you will have the ability to combine in-person and remote work after being fully trained.
