Independent Living Facilitator (Davis)

As an Independent Living Facilitator (ILF) you will provide for the care, fellowship, and protection of persons with developmental disabilities while supporting them to be as independent as possible. Responsibilities

• Assisting a person with disabilities to become more active in the community:
  • Helping them with their grocery shopping
  • Joining them in their hobbies, entertainment, and other recreational interests they may have
  • Helping them run errands
• Support with personal hygiene
  • Bathing
  • Oral hygiene
  • Assisting on and off commode
  • Changing adult briefs
• Light household work
• Meal preparation
• Lifting and transferring, sometimes with the assistance of a Hoyer lift

Full and part-time positions available. Multiple shifts available, including:

Shift 1: Monday through Friday 9:30am - 4:00pm

Shift 2: Monday through Friday 7am-12pm

Shift 3: Monday through Friday 8:30pm-10:00pm

Shift 4: All weekends Saturday and Sunday 7am-12pm

Shift 5: All weekends Saturday and Sunday 8:30pm-10pm

Shift 6: Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm

Shift 7: 2nd/4th weekends of each month, Friday 10pm through Sunday 10pm (48-hours)

Shift 8: 1st/3rd/5th weekends of each month, Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-2:30pm, 4:30pm-9:30pm (split shift)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of direct support experience
• Valid CA Driver License and proof of auto insurance
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position and a positive test for any illicit substances, including marijuana, will preclude the applicant from being considered for hire)
• In compliance with the CA Department of Public Health (CDPH) order, employees of InAlliance must be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19. Requests for religious or medical accommodation will be considered.
