This is a 6-month Co-op starting on July 8th and run till December 20th, 2024. This will be 100% onsite.

Your Role:
Targeted mRNA delivery (TMD) is seeking a self-starter, highly motivated and eager to learn co-op in their LNP Formulations group. This co-op will learn from some of the best scientists within EMD Millipore on developing novel in vitro assays for testing of LNPs for potency and viability. In your day-to-day activities, you will learn aseptic cell culture technique, routine handling of cells for in vitro testing and developing assays to bridge the correlation between in vitro and in vivo assays. You will sit in a large cross-functional team and learn how to build structure activity relationship to design next generation potent LNPs. In this six-month period, the co-op will not only gain hands on experience of experimental workflows in LNP discovery, but also interact with the top leaders of the organization to present their scientific findings. We will train you to be able to design your own experiments, execute it seamlessly, analyze data and present it in various formats. This co-op will start on July 8th and run till December 20th, 2024.
Who You Are:
- Graduate student currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related program
- Or Senior in undergraduate program in above programs
- Previous in lab/hands-on experience and pipetting ability is required.
- Aseptic mammalian cell culture technique is preferred.
- Experience working with nucleic acids is preferred.
- Able to commute to Billerica, MA and work 100% onsite.
