In-Home Caregiver

United Bridge Care in Atlanta, GA is looking for one homecare to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

The Care Professional will complete a criminal background check, will need current TB and CPR, but we can assist with those if they're not current.

Responsibilities

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal planning and preparation
• Reminders for prescribed medications
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
• Must have a compassionate and caring attitude towards others
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes

Specialties:

• Geriatrics/Senior/Elderly (Experience or Training Preferred)
• Pediatrics (Experience or Training Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
