Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other special needs is preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or clients as required
- Knowledge of nursing home, hospice care, or Home Care practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
