What we offer:
- No experience is required- we offer comprehensive training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Hands on supervision! Our team cares for our staff just as much as we care for our clients. We'll make sure that you enjoy what you do and feel confident throughout.
- We provide supervision hours for masters level behavior analysis students at no additional cost.
Expectations of a Behavior Therapist:
- Build rapport by playing games, reading books, sharing in activities that your client loves to do.
- One on one therapy to teach new skills to a child with autism.
- Collecting data to measure progress the client is making.
- Collaborate with a BCBA-D on any questions, feedback and new directions.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A mindset to enjoy your time during sessions and see every opportunity with your client as a teachable moment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Choose your own hours
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
