Implementation Specialist - Automotive

The Implementation Specialist III will be responsible for the successful implementation and integration of TrueCommerce’s Auto solutions for our clients.

You will work closely with the project team, customers, internal teams, and third-party consultants to ensure the integration layer and application is implemented to meet the specific needs of each client. You will also be responsible for training users on the software application and ensuring that the integration is stable for production use.

This role is hybrid (if near Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA) or a remote opportunity. 

As an Implementation Specialist, you will:

• Work with project managers, internal development teams, customers, and 3rd party consultants to engineer and deploy the integration component between the TrueCommerce Integration Layer and the customer's existing ERP/Shipping systems.
• Act as the primary contact throughout the software implementation process, interfacing with customers, retailers, resellers, 3rd party IT consultants, and internal resources.
• Drive project start-up, application configuration, user acceptance testing (EDI, ERP Integration, TrueAuto application), customer training and go-live.
• Ensure that execution and reporting of project phases and milestones are being properly executed as per plan.
• Provide responsibilities/expectations and project status updates to project manager.
• Deliver on-time projects using industry and TrueCommerce best practices.
• Conduct business and integration workshops to capture requirements for integration to client’s ERP, business workflow and identify areas to implement best practices supported by the TrueAuto application.  
• Ensure the integration layer requirements are captured and implemented to the customer's unique business needs and stable for production use.
• Understand the customer’s needs and facilitate best practices to configure the TrueAuto application and train users on the application functionality.
• Serve as a subject matter expert around the TrueCommerce application and integration layer on designated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or shipping systems.
• Become the go-to resource for issues pertaining to the specified platform that exceed beyond applicable team knowledge.

Requirements for Success as an Integration Specialist for TrueAuto:

• General understanding of automotive manufacturing, electronic data interchange (EDI), and supply chain processes required
• 3+ years experience performing and coordinating project tasks for software implementations with limited supervision.
• Proven ability to serve as a primary contact for a new customer implementation that includes all phases of project lifecycle: kickoff, discovery, configuration, testing, and production.
• Prior experience configuring software applications and training customers on application software including conducting training webinars or one-on-one customer training sessions.
• Prior experience in testing software, or working with customers on testing processes
• Familiarity with JSON and experience with text editing, data mapping tools and JSON is preferred
• Experience with business systems such as ERP, MRP, WMS, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Experience in working with high volume customers and/or tasks with proven ability to keep organized and multi-task.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate technical information effectively to coworkers and customers
• Well-developed independent troubleshooting skills
• Experience in vendor/supplier business processes is highly preferred
• Strong logical ability to analyze and predict product implementation roadblocks and action items

Education:

• BA/BS degree in Business or technical field preferred
