Job Description

The Strategy Manager will lead and support a variety of strategic efforts to advance organizational and enterprise goals, including leading Impact Finance’s annual and ongoing strategic planning. This individual will be responsible for identifying annual organizational goals and KPIs, helping teams align with Objective Key Result (OKRs) and developing ongoing and insightful KPI and OKR progress reporting. The Strategy manager will work with a diverse set of internal stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team and team leadership, and to enable and support the organization with tools, guidance and coaching to effectively execute on strategy and build strategic alignment. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking and analytical orientation and curiosity across subject matters, coupled with skills in effective strategy management frameworks (for example: OKR, balanced scorecard, Results Based Accountability, Management by Objective, SMART goal setting), change management, communication, and a highly collaborative nature.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Codify Impact Finance’s annual strategic planning process, supports and inputs.
  • Co-lead strategic planning process with Director of Strategy Management, including developing annual goals and KPIs and establish process for reporting, providing analysis/insights and sharing regularly with Senior Leadership Team.
  • Partner with Finance team to more fully align a cohesive, predicable annual cycle that includes strategic, financial and team planning and connects it to organizational priorities and growth.
  • Partner with Director of Strategy Management to lead Senior Leadership Team through a midyear visioning session ahead of financial and expense planning.
  • Build a repository of guidance to help leaders deepen understanding of OKR framework and provide ongoing support/coaching to teams.
  • Build processes and systems to enable teams to effectively track and monitor OKRs and develop ongoing portfolio-wide reporting & insights demonstrating progress and elevating roadblocks.
  • Liaison to strategy leads across functional areas of Finance, Business Impact, Business Transformation and business lines for cross functional initiatives or operational improvement.

Basic Qualifications
  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $108,375.00 - $127,500.00 - $140,250.00
