JOB SUMMARY:
This role will work closely with Cultivation Management to execute the High Season IPM regiment. Primary responsibilities include pest detection, foreign object debris detection, and overall plant health. As well as spraying chemical compounds on flowers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to work and communicate in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving teamwork-based interdepartmental environment.
- Ability to learn and adhere to organization SOP's.
- Enforcing company spraying policies.
- Monitor and complete compliance paperwork.
- Cleaning and basic sanitation of work areas.
- Maintaining MSDS folder.
- Managing inventory of chemical compounds and coordinating restock shipment.
- knowledge of Cannabis pests and diseases, appropriate preventative measures, and curative responses.
- Ability to learn comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis abiotic stressors (nutrition and environment), appropriate preventative measures, and curative responses under the direction of the Cultivation Management.
- Help if necessary, with equipment use and breakdowns and equipment maintenance.
- Follow protocols to produce a safe, harmonious and productive work environment.
- Follows CCA Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Rules & Regulations, and ensures that they are completing their duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensures that established safety guidelines are followed and complies with O.S.H.A. and Right‐to‐Know standards.
- Successfully perform the above functions and use said equipment independently without supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) minimum requirement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of proper safety standards.
- knowledge of Cannabis pests and diseases, appropriate preventative measures, and curative responses.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
- Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and situations.
