Job Description
Behavioral Health Agency is seeking a therapist to provide short-term psychotherapy services. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving community violence and looking for significant ways to serve the East of the River community, through an outcome-based framework. **Candidates must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW**.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical role to include
- Provides person-centered individual therapy and completes progress notes to document services.
- Provides culturally specific, results-driven care.
- Interact and participate in team meetings and other activities to coordinate care.
- Ability to refer individuals to additional resources as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related discipline is required.
- Must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW
- Must have at least 1 – 4 years of therapy work experience providing services to adults.
- Approximately two years of experience in assessing, diagnosing and developing treatment plans for psychiatric patients. Experience facilitating consumers’ access to community resources and is required.
- Ability to provide Telehealth Services
Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience
