Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer 2 at Regional West Health Services located in Scottsbluff, NE.

 

Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, NE. Includes Regional West Medical Center, a 188-bed regional referral center and the only Level II Trauma Center in Nebraska west of Kearney. As the region's only tertiary referral medical center, Regional West offers care that spans more than 32 medical specialties provided by over 28 physician clinics.

The successful candidate will:

• Test electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Decision making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair medical imaging devices
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and basic networking theory
• MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound service experience (preferred)
• Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
