Form of workOur team is currently seeking an IMA Certificate Compliance (IMACC) Specialist to join our group. This role is responsible for auditing certificates of insurance and endorsements for completeness, accuracy, and conformance for contract requirements. This position is eligible for remote work. Essential job responsibilities are included but not limited to:
- Independently audit certificates of insurance and endorsements for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to our client's contract requirements
- Provide detailed and accurate reviews and answer client inquiries about compliance matters, with minimal guidance
- Follow up with insurance agents to verify policy coverage and cancellations
- Act as a liaison between agents and our clients
- Perform client account review
- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Ensure accurate tracking of communications
- Support and demonstrate IMA's core values
- Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
- Two plus years' experience in Commercial Insurance and understanding of General Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation and other business policies required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience with MS Office products (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) strongly preferred
- Experience with computer software programs (MYCOI and TrustLayer) preferred
- Limited travel required (less than 25%)
