Job Description:
Department Specific Details: Nursepatient ratio is 2:1, they will float to other units if not needed in the ICU(excluding OB, Peds, and ED). Requirement is every other weekend. Our chartingis Epic. Expected qualifications: proficient in mechanical ventilators, BIPAP,central venous/dialysis lines, heart rhythm interpretation, chest tubes,trachs, feeding tubes, arterial lines, titration of vasoactive infusions, NIHHScertified.
Notes: We are a combined general ICU and CV ICU. We takemedical/surgical ICU patients, neurosurgical patients, post trauma (Level 2)patients, and post cath/CV surgical patients.

What You Will Do:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
