Job Summary:
We are seeking a kind, energetic and dedicated IHS worker to provide proper the care to a high needs client ensuring their overall health and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of an individual in need.
Responsibilities:
*Assist client with ADL’s
*Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals including PRN’s. *Have the the ability to redirect and de-escalate client in a calm manner
*Assist with mobility and transfers
*Provide companionship and emotional support to client
*Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client
*Communicate effectively and properly with client, their family and their care team members
Requirements:
* Be willing to attend ongoing training classes
*Have knowledge regarding ASD and basic healthcare procedures
*First aid and CPR certification preferred
*Have excellent communication skills
and organizational skills with attention to detail
The more experienced you are with ASD clients the better, however we will train the right individuals!
