JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job):
The IFS and ERP Accounting Analyst will work as part of a team of ERP and business experts to formulate and implement best business and system practices in using IFS ERP, Accounting Practices, Project Management, and working with key accounting business users in each of Stolle’s companies globally. These efforts will include both new ERP/IFS projects across existing companies including multi-departments and/or multi-company situations to aid Stolle towards “best practices” business use of the global IFS ERP system. This position will use a combination of business experience, education, and IFS knowledge to design solutions to better manufacturing, assembly, accounting, warehousing, project management, and IT. This position will work with Stolle’s operations in various locations including Brazil, China, USA, Vietnam, UK, and Poland. Documenting SOPs and related business conclusions via text and diagrams is commonplace. This position is a critical part of IFS and business support within Stolle’s Global, multi-company, multi-currency, multi-site IFS implementation. This position will be expected to be part of a team that provides after-hours support, be on-call, and provide support to Stolle’s global environment.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:
- Participate in Stolle's ERP solutions implementation in all business areas including Information Technology globally.
- Stolle's IFS Accounting System Expert (cost and corporate)
- Support for Stolle's IFS Security Admin focused on minimizing Segregation of Duties conflicts as part of JSOX in IFS
- Subject Matter Expert in Accounting and other related areas including IFS business process design, IFS technology adoption, and IFS integration.
- Subject matter expert on business analysis, data analytics, financial consolidations, Manufacturing, and Accounting
- Subject matter expert in “IFS Projects”, “IFS Project Accounting” and other related items
- Works with management to prevent or remove obstacles that inhibit the delivery of quality products and services.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, BCS or related degree or equivalent experience
- +4 years relevant experience including hands on super user experience in IFS ERP Accounting functions
- CPA a plus
- MBA a plus
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- International and USA domestic travel up to 15%.
- Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week or more, which may include being available to support global operations and on-call, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Able to lift computer equipment, monitors, and servers.
