Position Summary
Kemper is currently seeking an experienced, motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to support the Identity Access Management program. The IAM Analyst is a critical part of Kemper's Identity & Access Management team, and key member of the Office of the CISO. Under the direction of the Information Security IAM management and leadership you will maintain, evaluate, monitor, and strengthen the adoption of identity practices, standards, and controls. The IAM Analyst will execute and maintain existing User Access Review (UAR) control processes, associated quality assurance and review processes, and identify continual operational enhancements. The IAM Analyst will also operate at multiple levels within the organization participating in IAM projects/activities, risk assessments, IT general control (ITGC) SOX and other IAM actions. In addition, the IAM Analyst will work with IT application and database owners, infrastructure, IAM engineering and business stakeholders, departments to identify and recommend solutions to Identity and Access Management related issues and provide expertise surrounding a broad range of IAM duties.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain Information Security operational controls and processes supporting user access reviews.
- Actively identify and respond to identity governance or Access Management issues and incidents related to system, workflow, or identity access data to ensure internal access controls are appropriate and operating as intended within the company.
- Perform reviews and complete audit documentation supporting IT general control access security control activities.
- Maintain detailed records of access permissions, changes, and Access reviews.
- Support remediation efforts for security and compliance activities related to ITGC SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and other compliance audits/assessments.
- Collaborate with various teams for IT Compliance activities, as required.
- Play a role in the development, and ongoing delivery of IAM security and compliance related training.
- Assist in IAM security and compliance initiatives and engage with Account Operations and IT application and database teams to ensure adherence to IAM and PAM policies and requirements.
- Partner with application owners and leaders to address business and technical issues involved in deploying, governing, and extending identity services.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.
- Three or more years direct experience in Identity and Access Management specifically, Identity Governance and Account Administration, User Lifecyle Management, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Privileged Access Management, and other Access Controls and Security best practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of Single Sign-On, SAML, OAuth, Identity Federation, Consumer Identity, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Experience with the operation of Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Azure, Okta, and SailPoint, ForgeRock and CyberArk.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in utilizing and leveraging Excel including configuring pivot tables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders across an organization and in delivering reports.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills.
- This position is a hybrid role which requires 2 days per week in the Jacksonville office.
