ICU Registered Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our client's dynamic team. The ICU RN will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient outcomes in our intensive care unit.
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, noting any changes or deterioration in health.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment, such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols at all times.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed
