Responsibilities:
- Scoop and serve Ice Cream to customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions about flavors, toppings, or allergens
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including wiping down counters and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of the Ice Cream
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with bussing tables and keeping the dining area clean
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation
Experience:
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong sales skills to upsell products and promote new flavors or specials
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions and make change accurately
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic food service procedures
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning of Ice Cream
Note: Sanitation is an important aspect of this role, but it is covered under the "Maintain a clean and organized work area" responsibility.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
