The Frozen Barn is looking to hire HAPPY people to be a part of our team! Ice Cream Scoopers at TFB are happy positive team members and are the caretakers of our guests! TFB scoopers are others-oriented, acting for the benefit of both their team members and our customers. TFB’s team is committed to the excellent quality of our products and our guests. Creative input and ideas of scoopers are always valued.

Scoopers greet our guests, make the best cones and cups of Ice Cream, and create happy moments for all our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Ice Cream Scooper provides fast, friendly service to guests . You will work alongside our team members to provide excellent guest service to our guests.

- Your role will be to take orders, scoop and serve Ice Cream, make and serve shakes, sundaes, banana splits and cones to customers with a smile.

* Team members will be scooping delicious Ice Cream which requires bending over dipping cabinets and using upper body strength.

- Prepare waffle batter and waffle cones

- Maintain stocking levels of supplies

- Perform cash handling and point of sale procedures.

- You will multitask in a fast-paced environment with front of house and back of house responsibilities.

- Keeping all the Ice Cream tubs scraped and presentable to the customer

- Cleaning the inside and outside of the shop -- including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops, sanitizing food areas, sanitizing front lobby, and cleaning bathroom.

- Be familiar with all Ice Cream flavors and ingredients to answer customer questions

- You must always be proactive and avoid personal distractions—no downtime!

- You will need reliable transportation.

Physical:Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Experience:

Food Service and Customer Service Experience preferred but Not necessary, we will train you.

16 years of age or older are welcome to apply!

MUST obtain food handlers card upon hire.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
