Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of Ice Cream flavors and desserts
- Operate Ice Cream making equipment and machinery
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in the production area
- Familiarity with following and executing recipes and adhering to strict policies and procedures of a production kitchen (e.g., sanitation, FIFO product rotation/dating, product inventory tracking). We offer 48 flavors daily which are pulled from 150+ recipes in our books.
Skills:
· Ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 lbs., multiple times over the course of the shift.
- Experience in catering or food service industry is a plus
- Proficient in using knives and other kitchen tools
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with packaging requirements for food products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Consistently arrive on-time to all scheduled shifts throughout the week
· Able and willing to assist with Front of House duties during busy time (e.g., scoop, serve, ring up) in rare cases if needed
