Improve Army Weapon system through performance analysis!
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Will provide analysis of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) and integration of sensors into the system. Will participate in writing Test Plans, writing Test Reports, participating in IBCS testing, writing JIRA tickets, and reviewing JIRA ticket responses. Will be responsible for reviewing and keeping up with software changes for IBCS and other sensors and launchers being integrated into the system. Will work on developing tools and scripts as necessary to assist in analysis. This will require developing knowledge of the IBCS interface between all sensors, launchers, and up-linkers. Will be required to become familiar with a wide variety of data reduction output files from the tactical system and from simulations, the specific variables in the files, and how to apply them to determine performance.
The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, resourceful, independently motivated and detail oriented, willing to travel, and work in the office every day. The position requires good time management capabilities and communication skills and computer skills.
Relocation: Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or able to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical, software, computer, etc.) or other STEM related fields (physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
• 2 years experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Data Analysis, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests
• Able to travel about 20-25% of the time
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of Python, SQL, Visual Basic (VB), MATLAB, C/C++, C#, or any other high-level programming language is desired.
• 5-10 years experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Data Analysis, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
• Ability to brief audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge
