About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant who is responsible for delivering a high level of consulting and architectural guidance to a large financial services enterprise customer, to maintain confidence in their Transmit-led identity infrastructure, and to demonstrate advocacy leading to their success, product adoption and expansion. To accomplish this, the Professional Services Consultant must have a strong desire to leverage their identity expertise and technical and consulting skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop technical implementation strategies, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with a large financial services enterprise customer to deliver a successful deployment and utilization of Transmit Security products.
- Lead and consult in design sessions and assist in documenting technical and business requirements.
- Provide technical architecture recommendations and best practices for Transmit solutions based on their identity and security needs.
- Understand customer projects, future strategies, and technology roadmaps and align Transmit solutions to ensure desired outcomes.
- Lead identity solution architecture and implementation in a dynamically changing environment.
- Provide Transmit product demonstrations and align Transmit solutions to customer identity challenges.
- Advise on developing user journeys and orchestration connectors according to customer use cases and technical requirements.
- Validate quality of Transmit product integrations by reviewing customer documentation, product configuration, and consulting on testing schemes.
- Provide guidance regarding Transmit upgrade implementations and optimizing the performance of the customer's Transmit integration within their infrastructure.
- Be the focal point for any technical issue in integrating the Transmit product.
- Engage in the escalation of priority support tickets created by the customer as needed.
- Support delivery of business reviews with customer leadership to present progress against objectives and performance.
- Work remote with quarterly travel to customer locations for workshops, training or emergency troubleshooting.
- Occasional availability during off-hours to act as a liaison or escalation point of contact for upgrades or critical implementation of Transmit products.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related programs.
- 10+ years of IAM solution design, implementation and security experience in large enterprise financial services environments.
- Software development and programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, etc.).
- Deep understanding of IAM technical standards (SSO, SAML, SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO).
- Awareness and understanding of industry standards (FFIEC, HIPAA, etc.).
- Broad understanding of CIAM designs, use cases and solution integratiion.
- Articulating business challenges and objectives and solution value propositions.
- Knowledge in relational and/or noSQL databases.
- Familiarity with IaaS and SaaS concepts and solutions.
- Strong overall background in Enterprise architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of best practices and security applied to mobile application development.
- Strong understanding of FIPS compliance, encryption procedures and standards, federation, authentication and authorization concepts.
- Expertise with all aspects of transport as applied to mobile applications (mobile and cross-channel authenticators, connection handling, push notifications, client-side certificates/SSL, PKI on mobile).
- Expertise with Unix and native mobile operating systems.
- Advantage: solid understanding of Web applications, Web APIs (REST/JSON), web protocols, (i.e. http/s, JavaScript, SSL, DNS, proxies/caches, firewalls, etc..).
- Exemplary oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with both internal staff and external clients in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, and an ability to manage concurrent tasks.
- Support sales team on prospect conference calls, virtual meetings and onsite visits by providing product demonstrations expertly responding to technical questions and explaining features in the context of solving customer's business problems.
