PURPOSE:

The Manager Infrastructure - Identity & Access Management (IAM) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities within architectural design, development, and deployment of the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure, services, and processes. Supports the maintenance and upgrading of their existing application/infrastructure systems and services. Leads team on issues related to the design, development and deployment of mission-critical information, infrastructure and/or software systems. Manages a team and/or Team Leads, establishing goals and objectives, managing performance and deliverables and developing and mentoring staff. This position operates with latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

IAM Engineering and Architecture

Lead efforts in the IAM core system architecture of solutions of large scale, transformational programs to ensure consistency, quality, and architectural integrity.

Lead assignment and prioritization of tasks assigned to IAM teams

Work collaboratively with development team, technical lead, and business analyst to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation

Analyze current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions short term or long term

Ensure designs support scalability, quality, performance, security, maintainability and architectural integrity, and ensure solutions are delivered in alignment with the defined architecture strategies and goal through collaboration across IT teams

Define strategy, plans, and governance needed to implement and manage enterprise architecture domain designs and technology standards

Act as Subject Matter Expert to the organization for IAM services such as directory services, authentication/authorization, identity lifecycle management, privileged access management and cloud identity services in a global, distributed environment.

Develop, monitor, and manage metrics / KPIs as a basis for continuous improvement.

Leadership and Team Management

Coach and mentor team members and technical staff on their assigned project

tasks

Function at a leadership level providing direction to team but also roll up sleeves

to maintain deep product/project knowledge to be able to effectively respond to

questions/issues as they arise and counsel senior management appropriately

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in information / Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline with IT focus

Experience:

3-5 years' experience leading IT infrastructure across multiple lines of business

3-5 years' experience leading large scale identity environments (10,000 employees minimum).

3-5 years' experience in leading and defining strategies, plans, and governance architecture domain designs

3-5 years' experience with cloud providers AWS or Azure

Experience in change management and commercial thinking across the organization and the behaviors supporting such, while engaging in a collaborative, inclusive leadership style

Extensive experience with directory services, authentication/authorization, privileged access management, identity lifecycle management and/or cloud identity services: Active Directory, Azure AD/SSO/MFA, Azure Identity Framework, AWS cloud native, CyberArk, SailPoint IIQ, Oracle OUD, LDAP, etc. Proficiency in network architecture and design, network security, and network monitoring

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Proficient with industry security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 17799, CIS, etc.

Familiar with one or more regulatory requirements and laws such as, but not limited to, PCI, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, GDPR and GLBA.

Deep knowledge of core IAM principles and products in the area of responsibility (i.e. Active Directory, SailPoint, etc.)

Knowledge of zero trust principles

Knowledge of ITIL and able to follow established processes for ITSM

Knowledge of agile or Kanban principles and practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams

Ability to manage competing priorities

Ability to create process and process design where none or little exists

Ability to create strategic landscape that delivers against IT goals

Ability to build strong teams across dispersed work locations, including mentoring and providing developmental goals
