OVERVIEW

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the services provided to our customers. You will lead a team responsible for all aspects of infrastructure and technology management, including Citrix Xen suite, VMware, LAN, WAN, Firewall, Storage, SAN, Microsoft Server, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificate management, SLA reporting, infrastructure patching, infrastructure security, data centers, servers and much more. You will also serve as the Citrix engineer for our organization and its customers. You will lead a team of skilled individual contributors while collaborating closely with peers, partners, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with our customers’ needs and industry best practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, empower, and motivate the Infrastructure team through accountability, doing, mentoring, and coaching to ensure that a comprehensive and high-quality set of experiences and services are provided to the customers.
• Serve as the engineer and technology subject matter expert as a contributor for all things Citrix Xen suite related.
• Define, track, and report on service-level agreements (SLAs) to measure the performance of the infrastructure team.
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of all aspects of infrastructure.
• Implement security measures to protect infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and deliver training programs to empower end users to maximize technology utilization.
• Manage infrastructure assets and software licenses to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with software licenses and vendor agreements.
• Implement a robust patch management process to keep infrastructure devices up to date and secure.
• Collaborate with the security team to proactively address cybersecurity threats.
• Maintaining and upgrading existing solutions to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability for all in-scope infrastructure technologies.
• Coordinating staffing and solutions to support prioritized projects and initiatives.
• Establishing staff development plans to ensure the recruitment and retention of highly skilled staff as well as the development and promotion of current staff.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Experience:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in technology with emphasis with Citrix technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership capacity ideally within an infrastructure technology team.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies/practices including but not limited to Citrix Xen suite, VMware, Pure Storage, Dell converged infrastructure, Dell blades/servers, Microsoft services (i.e., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificate management), Palo Alto, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft 365, and data centers.
• Demonstrated expertise in continuous improvement techniques using data, customer satisfaction and technology.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy.
• An expert level engineering skill set for Citrix Xen suite to deliver end user facing solutions is required.
• High level of curiosity in understanding the underlying business and the problem we want to solve using technology.
• Accomplished leader that balances “what is possible” with “what is practical” to support infrastructure services, drive productivity improvements and an industry-leading customer experience.
• Continuously improve infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement based on SLA data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical details across a variety of audiences.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting.
