Job DescriptionOverview
GovCIO is currently hiring an Information Assurance (IA) Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that data is protected during processing, storage, transmission, and usage. This position will be in Hampton, VA and will be a flexible/hybrid position.
Responsibilities
GovCIO integrates deployable communications capabilities on behalf of our customer to provide deployable communications capabilities worldwide. GovCIO manages the hardware and software configurations; develops and provides training; field service support, logistics services; and manages Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes on behalf of the customer.
The IA administrator will work closely with the Cyber, Network, and Systems Engineers to ensure the overall security of the deployed systems network architecture from initial connectivity to the daily operations of the deployable kits.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Assist with a wide range of computer security elements, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
+ Participate in the RMF processes; performs technical vulnerability assessments of computer security
+ Provide business continuity and disaster recovery support
+ Engage in intrusion detection and prevention; provides incident reporting and response support
+ Conduct ongoing monitoring of computer security requirements and compliance, maintains system security plans and risk mitigation plans
+ Ensure proper protection and / or corrective measures have been taken when an incident or vulnerability has been discovered
+ Provide continuous upkeep, monitoring, analysis, and response to Information System, Network and Security events
+ Complete XACTA and eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service) IA packages as required
+ Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures
+ Confer with network users about solving existing system problems
+ Assist in system hardening, security testing and tracking POA&M items until corrective actions are in place
+ Account management for personnel, local, and service accounts
+ Draft security documentation such as simple SIAs, STIG checklists, and memos
+ Assist with auditing as needed
+ Manage tickets for security-related workflows
+ Review SOPs, policies, procedures, etc. as necessary
+ Work with scan data to track and manage remediation from FSRs and Engineers
Qualifications
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Experience with DoD deployed communications
+ Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks
+ Working knowledge of ODNI and Department of Defense IA and Cyber policies, instructions, directives, and technical guidance
+ DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc)
+ Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues by deploying STIGs/patches to address the critical and high risks to systems
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) monitoring and accreditation/re-accreditation process
+ Ability to use ACAS to perform vulnerability scans

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
