I T Support Technician

Gecko Designs is searching for an IT Support Technician who is passionate about our mission and provides exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a service-oriented attitude and excellent customer service skills.

We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and highly organized IT Support Technician with a desire to stay up-to-date with the newest technology and software in the field. You’ll take ownership of technical service requests andhd ensure users get the most out of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Manage ongoing computer hardware and software maintenance, installation, and repairs.

• Troubleshoot IT problems quickly and accurately while providing creative solutions.

• Create and implement IT solutions that maximize efficiency and uptime.

• Provide user support and technical advice through troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Monitor system performance and optimize computers for peak performance.

• Diagnose and respond to hardware and software issues quickly and accurately

• Technical support for a variety of hardware and software systems

• Deployment and support of key applications

• Build and maintain virtual environment servers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred

• 5 years of IT experience particularly in providing technical support

• Excellent technical skills with sound knowledge of Windows server, desktop, and mobile.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and accurately

• Knowledge of networks, virtual servers, and internet connections

• Outstanding customer service skills

• A team player with excellent communication and time-management skills

Pay Range: $45,000 to $56,000 per year
