LIV Golf is the first-ever global golf league committed to the sport’s worldwide growth, with enhanced player pathways through the International Series, a ground-breaking series of events launched in 2022 through the Asian Tour. The League is also dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of communities through LIV to Give, LIV Golf’s global impact platform announced in June with a $100 million commitment to develop and support social and environmental initiatives in tournament host communities around the world.

Role Objective:

The Team Operations Manager of HyFlyers GC will play a critical role across multiple areas – ensuring that the team achieves strong business outcomes in all off-course areas.  Candidates must be comfortable wearing multiple hats, as contributions are expected across player relations, travel management, event logistics, business operations, partnership management, retail support, and strategic alignment.  Success in the role requires a deep understanding of the golf industry and LIV Golf League’s structure, culture, and operational dynamics. 

Responsibilities:

• Player Relations
  • Ensure Players and Caddies receive a world-class tournament experience and have everything they need to compete at the highest level.
  • Coordinate Player participation for media, content creation, service days, and impact initiatives ensuring Players are aware and deliver upon commitments.

• Travel
  • Manage all aspects of Team travel, booking and arranging flights, visas, transport, and accommodations for Players, Caddies, Team staff, and other guests invited by the Team.
  • Ensure all Team travel is executed in line with the Team’s approved travel plan, the Team’s travel budget, and the Team Rules and Policies. 
  • Collate and file expenses using the Team’s expense reporting system and ensure timely reporting.

• Event Logistics
  • Ensure all onsite logistics needs are met for the Players, Caddies, Team staff, partners, prospects, and other invited guests.  This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating ticket requests, hospitality, credentials, and gifting; securing meeting space and catering; and managing invitations and RSVPs. 

• Business Operations
  • Provide Team General Manager with strategic support in reporting requirements across multiple business areas.
  • Lead internal communications across the Team, ensuring employees, contractors, Players, Caddies, and Agents are informed, aligned, and engaged. 
  • Support other departments such as sales, marketing, impact, merchandise, and social media, as requested – candidate should be able to proactively anticipate problems and provide solutions to ensure successful outcomes across the entire business.

• Partnership Management
  • Assist Team General Manager and other team staff members with the development and implementation of partnership management plans to increase partner satisfaction, drive revenue, and enhance the Team's brand.

Required Skills  

• 3+ years experience working within professional sports in travel, operations, or similar roles.
• Track record of working cross-functionally across different departments and ability to communicate seamlessly with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in tight deadline windows.
• Ability to travel to all events and work nights or weekends as necessary.
• Strong knowledge of professional golf. Experience working in golf is highly preferable but not necessary.
