To support the growth of Imenco products and services we are seeking high caliber and experienced individuals with hydrographic survey experience for a variety of roles. Key responsibilities will be to provide in-house consultancy in the application of our range of subsea positioning systems and our expanding range of hydrographic sensors, applications, and solutions. In addition, this will extend to providing operational support of our products, and services, and offer consultancy to our increasing customer base both onshore and offshore.
Hydrographic Surveyor
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate survey equipment
- Calibration of hydrographic survey equipment
· Responsible for installation, calibration, and operation of marine survey tools
· Maintain survey quality records (including internal daily logbook and DPRs)
· Instruction and performance monitoring of junior personnel as per Imenco Policies and Procedures
· Performance of work role in accordance with company and project policies & procedures
· Ensure that data gathered is in accordance with Survey project procedures
· Reporting of operational activities and logged data that does not meet acceptance criteria
· Take part in hazard identification and risk assessment as required by Imenco Policies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Surveying in the offshore environment
- Appropriate offshore medical and offshore survival course
- Bosiet or HUET training certification
- TWIC Card
Required Skills
- Exposure or working knowledge in Offshore Survey and deep-water
systems with specialization in USBL, LBL array installation, calibration, and positioning
- Working knowledge in jumper metrology measurements
- Working knowledge in networking and interfacing
