Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble hydraulic components in accordance with engineering drawings:
- Identify, inspect, clean, lubricate & install O-rings & back-ups
- Perform electrical bonding procedures
- Install safety devices (cotter pins, rivets & lock wire)
- Perform general sealing procedures, apply torque seal and part mark
- Inspect & install fittings, hoses & tubing
- Effectively use the Boeing portal to retrieve engineering data
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the area
- Support the training of new mechanics
- Show mechanical aptitude with an ability to perform Hydraulic Assembly work
- Ability to retain knowledge from on-the-job training
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to assist with training others

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material
- Frequent use of vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and spatial relationship
- Frequent use of hearing ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions
- Frequent lifting of 5 to 30 pounds
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses
- Infrequent exposure to excess noise levels, necessitating the use of Hearing Protection
