Position Title: Hybrid Print Operator Specialist

Reports to: Assistant Production Manager
Position Summary:
Hybrid Print Operator Specialist uses a digital Hybrid Printer to print on rigid and vinyl materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates (2) 10ft Hybrid printers using sheets or rolls for print media.
- Oversee daily production list
- Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs on workorders.
- Determines quantities required for print job.
- Matches colors or hardcopy samples to prints.
- Aligns and configures machinery.
- Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
- Maintains and communicates inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.
- Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance on printing machines.
- Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Makes sure the machine is being run efficiently
- Ensuring that material utilization is being executed.
- Follow all OSHA and GPC safety policies and procedures.
- Work as a team player.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate printing machines and related software.
- Decision making skills
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient thinking and procedural skills
- Operate printing machines.
- Bend or kneel frequently.
- Lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
- Stand for 7-8 hours

Education/Experience/Certification:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year production manufacturing running machinery preferred.
