  • Responsibilities

    Job descriptionLC Anderson, Inc., recent ACCA Commercial Contactor of the Year, services commercial accounts throughout Eastern MA. We service pharmaceutical, biotechnology, breweries, office buildings, manufacturing, and retail to name a few. This position is responsible for the delivery of field labor tasking procedures to execute planned service inspections, repair services, equipment installations and to provide emergency service response coverage per company and customer safety policies and procedures, and established work tasking procedures.

    · Directly responsible for performing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

    · Directly responsible for reporting safety, quality and or productivity problems.

    · Directly responsible during the execution of service work for notifying the Service.

    Manager for any job equipment, transportation, and or tool requirements.

    · Directly responsible for coordinating service vehicle repair and maintenance with

    Service Manager and our dispatcher.

    · Directly responsible for coordinating all personnel personal leave, and sick days.

    ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

    · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment specifications, mechanical and

    electrical codes and regulations.

    · The #HVAC/R Service Technician: Must be certified and perform refrigerant recovery and reclamation from refrigeration systems per EPA regulations,

    · Must be able to maintain adequate truck stock per Company inventory control.

    · Must have an understanding of primary (boilers/chillers) and secondary (AHU, pumps, fans, fan coils, terminal, PTAC, heat pumps, etc.) heating and cooling HVAC equipment maintenance tasking and or installation requirements.

    · Must have an understanding in the use of hand signals to direct crane or lift operators during load lifting and placement.

    · Understand how to perform trouble shooting procedures on heating and cooling equipment.

    · Ability to provide service estimates and quotes to clients for minor service work per Company procedures.

    · Pay rate $30-$50+ per hour, based on experience

    Qualifications

    · Minimum 3-5 years field experience

    · Mass Refrigeration licensee (preferred)

    · Clean driving record

    · OSHA 10

    · Able to pass a background check

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $45.00 - $57.00 per hour
