Hvac Technician

A small family owned Northbrook HVAC company is seeking a enthusiastic, dedicated, hard working, qualified Residential/Commercial candidate for an immediate opening as a Residential/Commercial HVAC Service Technician. You MUST know how to properly diagnose and repair HVAC equipment. We are NOT looking for someone who only has experience performing tune ups.

In addition, all candidates MUST have the following experience:

*A minimum of 5 years experience working in the HVAC service field as a residential and/or commercial technician.

Applicant should have the ability to perform basic maintenance and service of:

* Furnaces (all types including forced air, high efficiency, variable speed and modulating). Must understand sequence of operation.

* Air Conditioners (all types including split system condensing units, heat pumps and multiple stage)

* Roof Top Units (25 tons and under)

* Boilers (residential and commercial, heating and domestic hot water)

* Unit Heaters

* Hot Water Heaters

* Experience with both Commercial and Residential applications

*Must be able to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.

*Must have own HVAC tools.

*Ability to use power tools and ladders of all types.

*Must be able to lift 50 lbs

*Universal EPA Certification.

*Valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record. A fully stocked company vehicle will be provided.

*NATE ID is a plus.

*Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, be on time and take care when working in people's homes.

*Strong customer service skills a must!

*A clean, neat appearance is a must at all times!

*Qualified candidates should be energetic, reliable and outgoing.

Job Type: Full-time, with flexible on-call rotation

Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour**

** Pay is based upon level of skill and number of years employed as a HVAC technician.
