About the job
The Big Task:
Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and leadcustomers to informed, and confident buying decisions.
Key Sub Tasks:
· Complete any HVAC residential service callswithin their current area of expertise.
· Establish customer rapport to instill confidencein team and sell the right products and services.
· Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshootheating and cooling system malfunctions.
· Educate and assist customers in choosing thebest finance options and maintenance plans.
· Ability to exceed minimum KPI goal.
· Successfully complete follow up calls.
· Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick,accurate repairs and installations.
· Explain replacement opportunities for aging,inefficient or underperforming systems.
· Maintain a clean, organized job site and wellinventoried truck.
Desired Skills And Experience:
· Demonstrated proficiency in all Junior ServiceTechnician abilities.
· Competent in the use of all tools and resourcesrelated to basic service calls.
· Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes andproper electrical and HVAC safety standards.
· Ability to explain technical information tonon-technical customers.
· Ability to take timely action to solve problemsusing established policies and procedures.
· Ability to read and understand policy manuals,safety, rules, and procedures.
· Hold at least one state license orcertification.
· Must have current EPA universal certificate.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
