HVAC Sales Representative
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, a division of IES, is a company with a good reputation for quality and a dedication to customer service. We have served the greater Tampa Bay Area for over 40 years. Currently with seven branches, we are growing every year.
We are looking for a Sales Representative / Comfort Advisor with exceptional sales talent to help us reach profitable revenue while increasing customer satisfaction. A company vehicle, iPad, and phone are provided.
The Role
Our Sales Representative / Comfort Advisor is responsible for in-home selling of HVAC systems, duct work, and Indoor Air Quality products. A Sales Representative will run an average of two company provided leads per day to assess a customer’s current home comfort system, design a new system and provide solutions that fit the customer’s needs and budget. A Successful HVAC Sales Representative will be on-time, organized, thorough, and self-motivated. You are essentially running your own business. Prior sales and HVAC experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Create relationship with customers and develop rapport
- Determine correct systems and services for each situation
- Negotiate and close deals for new systems
- Create proposals that are accurate and thorough
- Follow up on proposals
Required Skills
- Sales experience, in industry or in in-home sales
- HVAC experience
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft suite and web-based software
- Organized with great persistence and follow-through abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Competitive nature
- High Integrity
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background test
This is a commission-based position with a weekly base. Training in our systems will be provided. We offer competitive pay, benefits, 401k, and incentives.
