Hvac / R Technician

Our client, an industry leader in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry for 40 plus years, is looking for journeymen technicians. Must have 5 years minimum journeyman level full-time repair & installation experience. Refrigeration experience with certification is desired.  Technician needs to provide leadership skills and support other team members. Technician is responsible for high level of customer satisfaction. We are looking for hardworking, dependable people who want to be a part of their team. Attitude is everything!

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair various air quality systems
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Service HVAC controls for various equipment brands
• Locate and diagnose maintenance problems on equipment
• Conduct warranty services and quickly perform emergency repairs on certain equipment items
• Communicating with clients and customers
• Ordering and maintaining equipment
• Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Meeting local HVAC codes
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years journeyman level experience in HVAC service and repair
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of HVAC systems
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Ability to service HVAC controls for various equipment brands
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen
• Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

· You must be detail oriented. Respect and a good attitude in the workplace is a must and goes a long way.

$35 - $45/hour

Full-time position with bonus potential, health insurance and 401(k) plan
