Compensation:$22+ DOE
Responsibilities:This position is primarily working with installing applications in the commercial and industrial sectors for SMSI, particularly supermarket refrigeration installation.
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair refrigeration line sets (copper) in commercial and industrial settings
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
- Assisting coworkers and team members to achieve accurate, timely results
- Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial
- Performing installation of HVAC-related equipment complying with service standards and work instructions as well as customers' requirements
- Understanding of the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Ability to use hand and power tools associated with the HVAC field
- Ensuring all tools, materials and equipment are in good working condition
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, tools, and materials related to the HVAC/R industry
- Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints and schematics
- Ability to travel for job-related assignments
- Physical strength and stamina needed to complete job requirements
- Proven mechanical skills and aptitude
- Ability to differentiate between HVAC/R components and systems
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
