HVAC Maintenance Sales Technician Trainee

Moore Homes Services has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated entry level HVAC Maintenance Sales Technician Trainee. Successful candidates are organized, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
• Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
• Meet sales goals and metrics, difference between M1 and M2 are based on metrics achieved

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work is performed in and/or around residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time.
• Occasional exposure to physical risk such as heat in excess of 100 degrees, sun exposure, walking up ladders in excess of thirty feet, along with exposure to insects, rodents, and sewage
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs
• Frequently ascend/descend ladder and maintain balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
