Our growing HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of install experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC install tech that will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You'll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you'll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. Responsibilities
• Check electrical testing equipment to check all electrical circuits and components
• Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
• Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment
• Join pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks
Qualifications
• Candidate is comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces
• We require candidates to have a high school diploma or GED
• Attended HVAC school for degree and 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
• EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification required
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
