Job Description
TeamGOV, Inc. seeks an experienced, certified HVAC Chief Engineer / Project Manager for a union contract, specifically the INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 369.
The HVAC Chief Engineer / Project Manager will have at least 5 years of Chief / PM experience in operating, maintaining and repairing all HVAC equipment including boilers, all heating systems, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, their ancillary components, devices and associated equipment including but not limited to cooling towers, CRAC units, VAV systems, compressors, blowers, motors, drive assemblies, fans, service valves, dampers, condensers, cooling coils, piping, pumps, purge units, control systems and wiring, duct work, burner assemblies, combustion chambers, thermostats and temperature controls, registers, condensate and drip pans and drains, grills, evaporators, air filters, heat/air conditioning units and all other items of equipment essential to the proper operation of HVAC&R equipment and systems in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals.
One or more of the following certifications required:
- North American Technician Excellence (N. A. T. E.) Core Service plus any service (K.A. T. E.) Specialty listed under the service category
- HV AC Excellence Professional - the following three certifications: Light Commercial Air Conditioning, Gas Heat, and Green Awareness Certification.
- U A Star HV ACR Mastery Certification
*Union rates and benefits including Health & Welfare & Pension rates.
*Roving position between home base of the Clifford Davis Federal Building in Memphis, TN and the Ed Jones Federal Building in Jackson, TN.

General maintenance and practical skills with knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repair. Ability to repair lighting ballast, belts, bearings and fixtures 20' high. Good customer service and the ability to track trends to resolve tenant work orders. Troubleshooting and analytical skillset highly needed for this opportunity.
Work hours 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
