SCOPE OF DUTIES
- Identify and respond to potential outreach and Human Trafficking related training that is suitable for the program.
- Act as a liaison between the program and the community, to include community partners.
- Conduct a thorough assessment and collect all assessment and related research data and process information in the Give Hope Database.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and partnering agencies, and maintain compliance with all organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community resources, including service providers and planning bodies, elected officials, law enforcement, civic and religious associations.
- Identify and present to the Regional IMPACT Director matters requiring decisions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshop’s on a variety of Human Trafficking related topics.
- Plan and present planning information sessions/community forums on behalf of VOADV three times per year.
- Interact (verbally and nonverbally) with all clients, staff and community members professionally with respect and courtesy.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meeting, conferences and training sessions, meetings as requested and include Human Trafficking assessment trainings as required.
- Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with operational policies and procedures.

Experience
Required- Two years of experience accepted but five preferred in a human services field. Additionally, experience working with trauma-informed care and/or victims of Human Trafficking. Good oral and written communications and organization skills. Must have functioning knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel and Word.
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field
Licenses & Certifications
Required- Valid Drivers License
