Support, Advocacy & Resource Center (SARC) is an accredited Community Sexual Assault Program and an accredited Children's Advocacy Center.
SARC's mission is to provide trauma informed crisis services, support and advocacy to victims, non-offending family members, and others who are impacted by crime. We strive to create and maintain a community without violence through prevention-based education.

For over 40 years SARC has been providing advocacy and crisis intervention services to survivors of sexual violence. Advocates work with clients to ensure their rights are upheld, needed resources are identified and provided, and empower clients as they begin their healing journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work as a member of the SARC team to:
- Provide intervention/advocacy and short-term crisis intervention.
- Provide on-going follow-up services.
- Maintain client files and database.
- Maintain information on community resources as referral information for clients and volunteer advocates.
- Participate in community activities to develop opportunities to ascertain needs, serve clients and promote agency goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology or related field from a college or university.
- Two years’ experience working in the victim advocacy field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be compassionate, dedicated and committed to assisting clients.
Preference for Spanish speaking.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
