Gadsden Health and Rehab is seeking a candidate for the Human Resources and Payroll Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Manage the payroll process.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, tax regulations, and payroll processes.
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
- Proficient in data entry and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
