Human Resources Opportunity:
Principle Health Systems is seeking a Human Resources (Training & Development) for our rapidly growing clinical laboratory company based in Houston, TX. PHS offers a range of products/services within the healthcare industry with a main focus on laboratory testing.
This role will support our Human Resources Director and their team within our corporate office in the Webster, TX area. - Full-time, permanent role
- Pay: Yearly salary based on experience and tenure
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; 100% in office with 20% travel required

Human Resources Essential Job Functions:
Training and Development:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and goals.
- Develop and implement effective training programs that align with organizational objectives.
- Create engaging training materials, resources, and presentations.
- Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
Human Resources Generalist Support:
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
- Manage offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and documentation.
- Contribute to HR analytics by collecting and analyzing relevant HR data.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Gain proficiency in HR generalist tasks to provide support across various functions.
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure cohesive and efficient HR operations.
- Act as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Human Resources Additional Requirements:
· Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR and training.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Human Resources Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Minimum of an associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Prior experience in training and development is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take Initiative in a new company role
- Must be willing to travel to other job sites in Texas; approximately 20% of work time.
