Position Overview:
Join our thriving team this summer as a Human Resources Intern and embark on a rewarding journey of professional development. We’re seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to our success by actively participating in Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Offboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Assist in the development of job descriptions and postings for various roles within the organization.
- Source and identify potential candidates through online platforms, social media, and other channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate suitability.
- Maintain and update the internal systems with accurate and current information.
Onboarding:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and reference checks.
- Prepare and organize new hire orientation materials and sessions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the company culture.
Offboarding:
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback from departing employees.
- Facilitate a smooth transition by providing necessary information to team members and colleagues who may be affected by the departure.
- Coordinate the return of any company property, such as laptops, access cards, or other equipment.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in maintaining HR records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and analytics on recruitment and onboarding metrics.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Interact and at times provide admin support to Managers and Executives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the overall success of the HR team.
