Overview:
G2 Global Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Human Resources Support Specialist. This position will be responsible for providing operational support and maintaining and enhancing the organization's Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human Resources policies, programs, and practices. You will provide a wide range of administrative tasks that directly support senior management.
Principle Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records
- Work with the Recruiter to ensure smooth onboarding of all new hires
- Implement New Hire Orientation and employee recognition programs
- Process benefit changes each pay period
- Work with accounting to ensure payroll is processed correctly
- Main point of contact for benefits administration
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Work with company leadership to support employee relations, etc.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
Required Skills:
- 3 years in an HR Generalist capacity
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding HR issues
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
- Working knowledge of HRIS
- Knowledge of HR best practices
- Ability to use past experiences to make HR recommendations
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS or Dynamics ATS
