The Human Resources Specialist is a proactive business partner; providing leadership and management of Human Resources and working with the leadership team, and all departments and levels of employees to drive company growth and initiatives.
Duties include:
- Providing recruiting, training, planning, analysis, and management reporting to support our growing business.
- The ability to work independently is crucial.
- Prepare recruiting programs, employee training programs, and safety programs.
- Responsibilities also include:
- recruiting
- new employee onboarding
- employee benefit resource
- employee record keeping
- develop relationships with high schools and trade schools
- employee training (all aspects)
- safety program
- governmental record keeping
- departmental budget
- ad hoc reporting
- Special projects as assigned by the President
HR Manager Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources, or business major preferred
- At least 5 years human resource experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be highly computer literate, have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Requires deadline driven, high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as key contributor on teams.
- The individual will be expected to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the human resource and safety field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and take ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
- Expertise of MS Excel, knowledge of Word, and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision.
