SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Human Resources, Senior Manager of Operations to lead the HRIS function, manage data requests, and improve the operational efficiency of the department and services provided to the organization. In addition to their own responsibilities, this individual will work on pan-institutional projects within the Museum.
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience in a Human Resources operations or Human Relations related role
- Extremely organized, proactive, and have exceptional attention to detail
- Knowledge of HRIS, federal, state and local reporting requirements for the Human Resources function
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with employees and managers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish and effectively deliver on deadlines
- A high level of trustworthiness, as you will handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems including Paycom
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage all Human Resources processes to ensure operations run smoothly
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process and the overall employee lifecycle
- Communicate new hire, departure and transfer information to appropriate departments
- Ensure Human Resources files are in compliance with record retention standards
- Manage provider and delivery for mandatory training at the organization
- Assist with procedures for performance management
- Create and maintain automated Human Resources workflows and proactively manage compliance-related Human Resources reporting requests
- Answer employee questions and requests regarding Human Resources
- Compile, analyze, and report current and past data on employees
- Ensure employee compliance with organization and government policies
- Manage the Human Resources website content on the intranet
- Partner with the Benefits Manager on special projects
- Mange the UI Claims Processes and Invoice tracking
- Process and track all Human Resources invoices, expenses, and payment requests
- Manage the Human Resources; Mailbox, Paper Files, and Stored Files
- Maintain Emergency Notifications/Maintenance of database
- Draft Employment Verifications/Loan Forgiveness Verification
WORK DEMANDS and ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to travel within the metropolitan area as required to perform the above duties at any of the Guggenheim’s owned or leased properties upon request.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
EDUCATION:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field,
- Bachelors Degree a plus

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 Hours per Week, Schedule TBD. Eligible role for two days remote work.
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $100,000 Annually
