Human Resources Onboarding Manager
RxBenefits is hiring! The HR Onboarding Manager serves as the face of RxBenefits to new employees as they join the company. This person will manage the Human Resource Onboarding process including processing employee documentation pre-hire and organizing & delivering the initial orientation program. This position is required to work from our Birmingham, AL office.
Responsibilities Include:
- Direct management responsibilities for HR Onboarding Coordinator. Provide leadership and development.
- Full ownership and facilitation of weekly new hire orientation(s) for onsite or remote teammates including:
- Act as a consultant to new employees from offer acceptance through orientation. Point of contact to field all questions not posed during orientation (many wish to speak privately). Topics typically include Benefit elections, IT equipment, HRIS, etc.
- Manage new hire paperwork process to include ensuring accurate completion by new hires and electronic storage of documents. Paperwork includes all Benefits documents, I9s, Employment Agreements, etc.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations by completing, signing, and processing I-9s and E-Verify processes for new hires
- Create pre-hire bios for weekly distribution to staff
- Maintain slide deck for orientation presentation (numerous updates throughout the year)
- Liaison with managers of new hires to ensure successful onboarding experience
- Manage New Hire Kits process which may include RxB gifts and all required forms (both generic and personalized). Work with Mailroom to ship kits 10 days prior to start date. When shipped, send FedEx/UPS tracking information to each new hire.
- Liaison with IT to ensure new hire provisioning process is completed successfully
- Coordinate with IT, Accounting and HR Ops to furnish appropriate pre-hire information/codes 5 days prior to start so that various accesses can be established
- Operate as a super user of HRIS system to maximize system capability and effectiveness
- Maintain ongoing biweekly payroll update reflecting all new hire data
- Perform special projects, initiatives, research, and analysis as required
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources support is required. Previous HR Onboarding experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to connect with a variety of audiences
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle ambiguity
